Juicing vs. Blending

Juicing vs. Blending
If you missed the first post about juicing, you can catch up here. What's the difference between juicing and blending, you ask? In a nutshell juicers extract liquid from the vegetable or fruit removing the pulp, and blenders mix the whole food, retaining the fiber. Simple enough, but is juicing better than blending? They both have awesome health benenfits, and complement each other well. You can get results from both methods, but figuring out your goals will help to determine which will be most beneficial.

Here's a quick, basic breakdown on the benefits of each.
Juicing vs. Blending

I like juicing because I'm getting more nutrients in one glass of juice vs. one smoothie since a larger quantity of vegetables are needed to make up a glass of juice. However, if you're looking to get full fast without a whole meal a blended drink might be the way to go. Here's a great site that shares more information on juicing than you may want to know!
